Know the Artist

Emma Prado

Emma Prado is a storyboard artist and animator based in South San Francisco. Her work explores childhood, emotional relationships, and character growth, with a focus on creating meaningful stories for young audiences. She earned her A.A. in Fine Arts from Skyline College and is completing her B.F.A. in Video and Animation at Cal State East Bay (expected May 2026), with plans to pursue a Master of Design in Animation at San José State University.

Emma is skilled in Adobe Animate, After Effects, Maya, and Fresco. She has collaborated with fellow artists through critiques and team-based projects, and she has created several short films showcasing her storytelling and animation abilities. Raised in San Francisco’s Mission District, she now lives in South San Francisco, where she continues to draw, watch classic animated films, and develop storyboards for future projects.
